PRE-SCHOOL youngsters have been invited to take part in a gymnastics class.
Stockton Borough Council sports development team's aim is to improve children's flexibility, co-ordination, stamina and confidence with the help of the class.
The classes, which are free, are aimed at three to five-year-olds.
They began on Tuesday and will take place each Tuesday thereafter between 1.45pm and 2.30pm at Bayheath House, Prince Regent Street, Stockton.
Yvonne Jones, community health and fitness advisor for the council, said: "It is never too early to start with young children in showing them the benefits of exercise."
