A HOSPITAL radio station is looking for new members to help keep patients entertained.
Darlington Memorial Hospital's station, Radio Skerne, has been broadcasting for almost 20 years, but needs more volunteers.
The station has live shows each week night, from 8pm until 10pm, and broadcasts on Sundays from 10am to 10pm.
Chairman Frank Benson said it had been difficult to recruit members.
"People seem busier than ever with their work and social life," he said.
"The patients at Darlington Memorial Hospital really do appreciate our work and our request collectors can sometimes be a real lifeline for those patients who may not have a visitor."
