TWO charity mascots met yesterday to decorate a house to raise funds for their causes.
Daisy Bear, from the Daisy Chain charity, and hedgehog Spike, from Butterwick Children's Hospice, helped Elizabeth Frost decorate her home in Egton Avenue, Nunthorpe, Middlesbrough, for her Christmas lights switch-on.
Sara Benson, from the hospice, said: "It is lovely to be able to work together for our charities, which both help local children and their families.
"We are extremely grateful to Mrs Frost for her support and to everyone throughout the area who is lighting up their home this Christmas for both our charities." The switch-on at Mrs Frost's home will be at 5.30pm on December 1.
