NEALE Cooper's injury woe shows no signs of easing. Ben Clark is the latest to join the list, after he damaged a hamstring in training last week.
And Cooper revealed Steven Istead and on-loan Lewis Goburn were ruled out of Saturday's defeat at Sheffield Wednesday because of injuries picked up in training.
Eifion Williams was also forced off at half-time on Saturday with a groin strain, but it's the loss of Clark which will be felt the most.
He was withdrawn at half-time in last week's win over Lincoln as a precautionary measure after straining his hamstring.
With Pool three goals to the good, Cooper could afford to err on the side of caution.
Clark eased his way back into training last week, but Cooper admits the former Sunderland man could be out for up to a month.
"Ben Clark has been a massive player for us and we will miss him being out,'' he said.
"Just when you think you are over the injuries, some more come along and hit you.
"Lewis Goburn hurt an ankle, Icy had a groin injury. Ben was back in training then he hurt his hamstring again - this one looks like it could be a lot worse than last week.
"He trained Tuesday and did a little bit of work on Wednesday, joined in with the boys on Thursday and, during a passing drill, bang. His hamstring just went.
"It will be longer than just a single game, we are looking at two or three weeks maybe.
"He has changed our team since he came and gives us something else. As long as he is out he will be a big, big miss.
"Eifion came off because he has hurt his groin. He did the same a few weeks ago and came off at half-time, so we will have to look at it.
"So just when you thing you are back to full strength, you get hit again. That's four players out."
Meanwhile, striker Joel Porter has been attracting intrest from Australia, with Perth Glory manager Mitch D'Avray admitting he is keen on taking the striker back home.
