A BLUEprint for the future of Pickering is be revealed at an exhibition.
The event, in the Memorial Hall on Saturday, where artists' impressions will be on display, is the latest move by the Renaissance Market Town Initiative in Pickering.
Spokesman Jim Bell said: "Pickering is leading the field by a significant margin in the race for substantial cash earmarked by Yorkshire Forward in order to support specific community-based projects."
He said they had been identified and prioritised after consultation with residents.
Mr Bell said: "Momentum is now gathering.
"Local and regional authorities have pledged their support.
"We now need to align the projects more closely to the needs of the residents ands the team needs more local volunteer help if the objectives which have been set are to be achieved".
Volunteers are needed to help steer projects, especially those with farming interests, said Mr Bell.
The exhibition at the Memorial Hall is to be staged between noon and 4pm.
