EVERYTHING was F.A.B. at a Darlington DIY store after staff raised nearly £1,000 for charity with a fun day devoted to Thunderbirds.
The event at the Darlington Focus store raised money for the Meningitis Trust, and included entertainment, competitions and fancy dress, raising about £920.
Gill Gates, of Focus, said: "I would like to thank the staff in Darlington for making the fun day so successful for everyone involved.
"Everyone enjoyed the day - customers and staff alike.
"This is the third year we have held such an event and the national total raised so far stands at an astounding £230,000."
Meningitis Trust corporate manager Chris Boey said: "I am delighted with the total raised from the Focus fun days. The money raised will help fund vital research, education programmes and provide support for life."
Focus staff raised awareness through a campaign highlighting how important it is to seek medical attention immediately.
