RESIDENTS have been encouraged to be more involved in issues affecting their homes and environment.
The Easington district's Tenants and Residents Federation yesterday held its first conference at Peterlee Methodist Church.
Seventeen tenants' and residents' associations in the distric are represented in the federation.
Chair Theresa Taylor said they wanted people to be more involved in the way their areas were managed.
