A GROUP formed to make Scarborough Council's area a safer place to live is looking for help to achieve its goal.
Safer Communities Partnership for the North Yorkshire Moors and Coast has carried out an audit on the issues that concern residents and businesses and what can be done to tackle them.
The partnership's manager, Mandy Chance, said: "This is an opportunity for residents to join with the partnership in making their community safer."
She said four main themes came out of the audit - crime, disorder, road safety and drugs and alcohol.
"We want to know if what we have found reflects the public's experience of living in the borough and whether there are any other issues they want to raise.
"Scarborough, Filey and Whitby are low crime areas and we want to keep them that way. The partnership exists to improve the quality of life for residents. By working together we can effectively tackle crime, disorder and drug abuse," she said.
