A campaigning woman who brought a North-East football match to a halt by pole dancing around the goalpost is in the region today.
Nija Levis is national co-ordinator of Purplehearts, a division of militant pressure group Fathers4Justice for women, friends and relatives affected by child contact disputes.
During the Hartlepool by-election, she stopped play during Hartlepool's football match with Hull City by running on to the pitch and chaining herself to a goalpost.
She will be speaking at an open meeting in Newcastle Labour Club, Leazes Lane, Newcastle, tonight, from 7.30pm.
