GEORGE REYNOLDS will deny money laundering charges when he appears in court today, his solicitor said last night.
The 68-year-old former chairman of Darlington Football Club is accused of three counts of laundering money, plus evasion of a liability and attempted evasion of a liability. His cousin, Richard Tennick, 58, and personal assistant, Ian Robinson, 43, are due to appear with him at Bishop Auckland Magistrates' Court, County Durham, both charged with two counts of conspiracy to launder money.
Their solicitor, Andrew Clinton, said: "They are all going to be denying all the charges. They are looking forward to the opportunity to contest the allegations."
