FESTIVE fever will grip Ferryhill tomorrow when the town holds a Christmas extravaganza.
Attractions will include a farmers market, in Church Road, a craft fair, in St Luke's Church Hall, from 2pm to 6pm, Santa's grotto in the town hall and show rides, in Market Street.
A candlelit procession, will leave St Luke's Church at 4pm to go to the town hall gardens for the Christmas lights switch-on at 4.30pm. To join the parade, arrive at 3.45pm to buy a candle for £1, with proceeds going to The Butterwick Hospice.
At 7pm, the festivities move to the Manor House with music from Ferryhill Town Band and mulled wine.
