POLICE have released security camera pictures of a man who is suspected of stealing a DVD player from a Durham City store.
The man, thought to be in his early 20s, took the Bush DVD player, valued at £49.99, from a display at the Co-Op store, in Sherburn Village, at 6.45pm, on July 6, and left without paying.
The man, who was wearing a baseball cap, jeans and a blue checked shirt, left the area in a red Ford Fiesta, which was parked around the corner from the shop.
Police said the suspect was about 5ft 10in and of medium build. Anyone with any information is asked to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
