EXTENSIVE work has been carried out on the Cleveland Way, between Robin Hood's Bay and Ravenscar, to improve the safety of walkers and accessibility to the long-distance route.
The Countryside Agency said the work at Ravenscar has completed a missing link and allows users with limited mobility to access the former Scarborough to Whitby railway line.
The work has been carried out as part of a programme to develop a trail around countries next to the North Sea.
