A DURHAM company has been recognised by an organisation for blind people for its design of websites.
Cornwell Internet, run by Roger Cornwell and Jean Rogers, has been shortlisted in the Visionary Design Award by the National Library for the Blind.
The awards recognise web design that is accessible by people who are blind or partially-sighted.
Sites for children's laureate Anne Fine and the Newcastle Quaker Meeting have attracted the attention of the award organisers.
Mr Cornwell said: "Our commitment to accessibility is a central element of our approach to website design, and it is pleasing that this has been recognised by the judges."
