A castle is to stage two Christmas concerts featuring medieval music and stories.
Brancepeth Castle, near Durham, is to host two concerts of seasonal music.
The performance on Friday, December 10, features folk group Magpiety, the medieval voices of Misericordia, the Border Dance team, Bishop's Bedlam storyteller Martin Peacock and the Brancepeth Mummers.
The following night, medieval actors Trouverre, instrumentalists Gaita, acapella group Lachrymae, The Durham Rams Morris team and Misericordia perform.
Performances are at 7.30pm and tickets cost £6 and £8. For details, ring 0191-378 2988.
