A PARISH church will take on an extra-festive look as it holds its first ever Christmas tree exhibition.
St Mary's Church, Thirsk, will hold the event in conjunction with the town's Christmas Fair.
About 30 trees of all shapes, sizes and designs will be erected inside the church next weekend by local organisations.
Town residents and visitors will be able to view the trees between 9.30am and 4pm next Saturday, from 11.15am to 4pm on the Sunday, and from 10am to 4pm on the Monday.
