NEALE Cooper last night praised his side's spirit after they snatched victory from Bournemouth.
Andy Appleby's late, late goal secured a 3-2 victory and maintained Pool's superb run of results at home.
In ten games at Victoria Park, they have taken 26 points.
And Cooper admitted: "We started off really well and were suprised to go in at half-time behind.
"They were a quick, mobile team, but it was hard to accept.
"We were chasing the game late on and kept going. They put a defender on for an attacker and they killed the game off well.
"But it was important to keep playing football and we got our reward. That is credit to the players for keeping going to the end.
"We put good balls into the box and we put big Nelse (Micky Nelson) up there to win a few high balls.
"The equaliser lifted us and Appo's (Andy Appleby) goal should have counted because you have to let the advantage go the way of the attacker if he is being fouled. It was a vital win for us and it was great, great excitement at the end.
"When we missed the penalty, we were really disappointed. It wasn't the best of penalties and we need more from Adam (Boyd) - he's not playing as well as he can.''
He added: "The spirit is there and it showed. In the 94th minute, to score the winner was a fantastic feeling for everyone and it puts us back in the top ten.''
