MORE than 20 politics students from Darlington will travel to Westminster tomorrow to question their MP about the workings of Parliament.
Alan Milburn, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, set up the trip to reward high-achieving students from Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College.
The group will tour the House of Commons before watching Prime Minister's Question Time and then take part in a question-and-answer session with Mr Milburn.
He said: "I wanted to give these very bright students the opportunity to see the Houses of Parliament in action.
"The college in Darlington consistently achieves record results and produces some of the most able students in the country.
"I take part in forums with people around the country but quite often the toughest questions I face are those from the students."
