FILM star Kelly Brook yesterday revealed how seducing her Hollywood actor boyfriend helped her get in character for a North-East movie.
The former Big Breakfast presenter was on Tyneside for the premiere of her new film, School for Seduction.
Her private life has been the subject of worldwide media scrutiny after she began dating US actor Billy Zane.
"He's a charismatic and handsome guy, so I had to crack on to him, not the other way around," she said. "I had to seduce him."
The £4m romantic comedy was shot on Tyneside and stars Miss Brook as an Italian temptress who travels to the North-East to teach Geordie women the art of seduction.
"I had a fantastic time filming the School for Seduction in Newcastle, but it was difficult trying to get the accent right," she said.
"The other girls on the set helped me a lot, and just chatting to taxi drivers around the city gave me a lot of insight."
And she revealed she has also picked up the Geordie dress code for nights out - no coat and an extremely short skirt.
But despite playing an experienced temptress in the film, she said she still did not have many tips for women wanting to seduce men.
"I would say just what the movie says - be confident, be yourself. That's the way to seduce a man."
The film was produced by Newcastle movie-maker Ipso Facto and funded by the Newcastle-Gateshead Initiative and Northern Film and Media.
The premiere took place at The Gate leisure complex, in Newcastle, last night.
Miss Brook, who met the media at the Baltic Arts Centre in Gateshead, said: "We'll be shopping in here later on and looking at the art.
"Billy loves to buy people wacky things for Christmas and this is the perfect place."
She said the couple planned to spend Christmas in Fiji and Australia, but refused to comment on whether they were planning to get married.
