THE artistic talents of more than 120 youngsters has gone on show for parents and relatives to admire.
Every pupil at Nevilles Cross Primary School, in Durham, produced one piece of art work for the exhibition.
Among the pieces on show are drawings, collages, prints and traditional paintings.
Not only does it offer a chance to show off their creative skills, but the display could prove a useful fundraiser for the school.
For parents are invited to buy the paintings, at £6 each, with extra copies available for other relatives.
The proceeds will go to general school funds, with ten per cent to be handed to the charity Show Racism the Red Card, which promotes equality in sport.
Art co-ordinator Rosa Reed said it was the first time the school has staged such an exhibition, but it was proving popular with parents.
Many called in to view the paintings at open days over the past two days, which included an illustrated talk by parent John Robson, a mountaineer, about an Everest expedition he took part in last year.
The display is in the main hall of the Relly Path school, off Nevilles Cross Bank.
