A KUNG Fu expert who represents Great Britain is helping to launch an event to help young people in the North-East succeed in business.
Shaka Brown, from Gateshead, will perform a Chinese lion dance to open Saturday's Drop the T' Roadshow, which aims to show how to turn "can't do into can do".
The Prince's Trust entrepreneur and owner of Oceans Apart martial arts club will lead the parade at Shotton Hall School, in Waveney Road, Peterlee, County Durham, at 11am.
The campaign is endorsed by Chancellor Gordon Brown and gives first-hand advice from people in the know.
The roadshows are designed to be fun, and encourage creative thinking as well as offering practical advice and information about how to get support.
The Prince's Trust supported Shaka Brown with a £500 grant and a £2,000 loan and helped him to form his company last year.
Oceans Apart teaches the traditional Chinese martial arts and Chinese folk lion dancing to both young and old. Mr Shaka has practised Kung Fu for 14 years, and has also represented Great Britain in the World Koushu Championships.
On Saturday, he will be demonstrating his skills by giving free Kung Fu lessons.
