A SHOP that has stood empty for many years is to re-open next week.
The former Dressers store, in High Row, Darlington, will re-open on Monday as a branch of Bertie Clothing.
The store will feature a nail bar, hairdressers and coffee shop, as well as designer clothing for men, women and children.
The Bishop Auckland-based clothing company has spent £3m refurbishing the store.
The shop has been empty since 2001 when Dressers closed after 150 years' trading in the town.
Wayne Baister, from Bertie clothing, said: "There will be a couple of things happening for the opening, but we don't want to say too much at this time."
