A BAND can keep on marching thanks to two cash windfalls.
Richmondshire Milleniumaires has received £7,000 from the York and North Yorkshire Children's Network and £3,550 from the National Lottery.
The money will spent on transporting the band and its equipment, and the purchase of new uniforms.
"We're over the moon," said Sue Smith, the marching band's treasurer.
"The money means we can take the band to even more competitions than was previously the case."
