PUPILS are celebrating after league tables revealed their primary school was one of the fastest improving schools in the country.
Caldicotes primary, in Middlesbrough, was the 16th most improved school in the country in league tables for the national Sats tests for 11-year-olds, published yesterday.
The school also received an Activemark Gold, for dedication to physical education, and was one of 12 schools presented with Middlesbrough's Quality Assurance Award for out-of-hours learning.
Also in the top 200 most improved schools was Crooksbarn Primary School, in Norton.
