PRIMARY school children were top of the form when they won a road safety quiz for the sixth time in eight years.
Ingleby Mill Primary School, from Ingleby Barwick, near Stockton, beat competition from St Patrick's RC and Wolviston primary schools to win.
The annual quiz is organised by Stockton Borough Council and more than 1,600 pupils aged ten and 11 from 33 schools took part.
All three teams were presented with a Galaxy Radio goody bag and the winning team received three family tickets to see the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs pantomime at Billingham Forum.
Characters from the pantomime met the teams and council road safety mascot Arnie the Armadillo handed out the prizes.
Mike Edwards, the borough council's road safety officer, said: "This year's initial round was keenly fought and the quiz was an exciting climax. Well done to the Ingleby Mill once again."
The quiz final was held at The Oakwood Centre, in Eaglescliffe.
