A COMPANY specialising in event management has secured a new client in Tunisia with the help of the Government.
CEM Event Management, in Eaglescliffe, worked with the UK Trade and Investment Department to be granted the work.
The company will promote a technology and communications exhibition in the North African country.
CEM was established by Carol Hodgson and Jill Brown in 2000 after they gave up public sector jobs.
They now employ three full-time staff and one part-time worker.
Ms Hodgson said: "We will co-ordinate all aspects of an event or conference and provide a one-stop shop for all event requirements, from venues, marquees, entertainers, sets, theming, props, speakers, caterers and audio visual equipment to design, marketing and promotion, stewards, health and safety and security."
