A computer graphics supervisor who has worked on a string of box office hit films is to share the secrets of his success.
Tom Martinek, who has worked on films including Master and Commander, Minority Report and Mission Impossible, will deliver a lecture at the sixth annual Animex animation festival in Middlesbrough, in the new year.
Other guests include video games writer Rhianna Pratchett, Chris Crawford, founder of International Games Developers Association, games broadcaster and researcher Aleks Krotoski, Curtis Jobling, designer of children's TV show Bob the Builder, and computer animation industry veteran Ed Harris.
The festival will also include the results of the Animex Student Animation Awards.
It runs from January 31 to February 4, with events across the Tees Valley.
