RADIO presenters have been put through their paces by soldiers from one of the region's Army regiments.
Ditchy, Dave Easson, Steve Harris and Giles Tanner, from Teesside station TFM, joined the Green Howards' 122 Army Youth Team for a gruelling afternoon.
The presenters began by tackling the assault course, before abseiling down a 75ft tower at Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire.
The final test was to negotiate a series of pitch-dark tunnels.
The presenters recorded their reactions throughout the afternoon, and the result will be aired at the weekend on the Saturday Soccer show, which the Green Howards sponsor.
"The four of them were really good sports and took everything in their stride," said Captain Steve Mincher, who leads the youth team.
"They actually found the assault course the most testing part of the afternoon, but they all managed to make it round."
