TEENAGERS are taking a children's musical on the road around Teesside.
The story and songs for the musical, Going for a Song, were written by Geoff Hardisty, a tutor at Stockton Riverside College.
Now 18-year-old drama students at the college will take the story about a tree that can't live without music to nurseries and infant schools around Teesside.
"It's a lovely story," said student Kelly Hauxwell, 18.
"It's mainly for children but we know plenty of adults who have seen our rehearsals who really love it."
As well as touring the production, there will be two performances at the college's Margaret Armstrong Theatre on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 14 and 15, at 7pm. Tickets cost £3 for adults and £2 for children.
