BISHOP Auckland tennis club ended a successful season with a presentation night in the golf club.
Mixed doubles teams had won the Darlington and District League and Division Two of the Cleveland League, with Lorraine Colwell and Cliff Mulholland taking the Essie Morrison Open at Saltburn.
Keith Greenwell was named Male Coach of the Year at the Durham Sports Awards.
President Sheila Davision presented club trophies. In the Junior Section Caroline Towers was the most improved beginner, Steven Hart the most improved player and boys winner and Chloe Gabrielle the girls champion. Seniors Heather and Les Clegg won the John Tuer Cup and the Clarey Young Cup, with the Keegan Cup going to Lorraine Colwell and Martin Walton.
