SHOWER company worker John Bennett raised £130 for Children in Need by having his head shaved on the factory floor.
After losing his locks Mr Bennett, who works for shower enclosure makers Roman, in Newton Aycliffe, ran around the building collecting donations.
It was his second recent fundraising event. He was in a team from Roman who took part in the Great North Run for Cancer BACUP.
He said: "My hair was getting a bit long and as I am part of the team responsbile for the ready availability of Roman's shower enclosures for the UK and overseas, it's good that I keep a cool head."
