A SCHOOL choir is making final preparations for a series of Christmas concerts.
More than 40 pupils and teachers from the North-East will be taking part in this year's Christmas concerts by Barnard Castle School's chapel choir.
The choristers, aged eight to 18, perform all year round, but the carol concerts are the most popular.
The first performance will be at Bowes Museum on December 8, at 7.15pm. Tickets are available from the museum on (01833) 690606.
The choir will then perform in the school chapel on December 12, at 5.30pm, December 14, at 7pm, and December 15, at 5.30pm.
No tickets are required for the events.
