MOTOR retailer Reg Vardy has appointed two managers in the Tees Valley. NIGEL SIMPSON has been named as general manager at the group's recently-opened Citroen dealership in the Mandale Industrial Estate, Thornaby.
The 47-year-old will also run Reg Vardy Citroen, in Brenda Road, Hartlepool, which is due to open in the New Year.
Originally from Sunderland, he has 30 years experience in the motor industry after beginning his career as a mechanic.
JOHN SEDGWICK has been appointed general manager at the group's motor village, in Croft Road, Darlington.
He was previously manager at Victoria BMW, in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, which is also part of the Reg Vardy group.
Darlington motor village, one of Reg Vardy's largest sites, employs about 165 staff and sells Rover, Nissan, Fiat and Alfa Romeo cars.
