AN exhibition of digital artwork taking inspiration from the human body and the organisms that exist inside it will take place this month.
The free exhibition, by Martin Brown, which will take place at Stockton's Green Dragon Museum from Saturday until February 19, is a result of his 20 years' work as a microbiologist in the NHS.
Mr Brown said: "To look down through a microscope lens is akin to Alice's looking glass. It is the experience of entering a strange new dimension.
"Disease, body fluids and germs are generally associated with ugliness, yet they can look fantastically beautiful under the transforming power of the microscope."
Stockton Borough Council exhibitions co-ordinator Kate Mahaffy said: "This is a stunning display of work that is as beautiful as it is unusual. I would urge everyone to come along to the exhibition and see these inner worlds."
