UNIVERSITY students are being urged to take advantage of a travel card offering half-price fares.
Stockton Borough Council has agreed to extend its Trailblazer travel card, aimed at promoting public transport usage by 16 to 19-year-olds, to students aged under 20 at the University of Durham, Queen's Campus, Stockton.
The pass costs £10 for university students aged under 20 and living in the Stockton Borough Council area. It is valid next August 31.
Cards can be bought at the Stagecoach and Arriva Travel Centres on Stockton High Street. Proof of age and residence must be provided. For details, call (01642) 397106.
