A MOTORIST had to be cut from the wreckage of his car after it was involved in a collision with a coach yesterday.
The accident took place in the Faverdale area of Darlington during the morning rush hour and led to queues back to the A1.
The incident took place at the junction of Auckland Oval and West Auckland Road just after 7.30am.
All three emergency services were called, and a man from the Cockerton area of town was freed from the car.
He was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital suffering from minor facial injuries.
