TWO short-break destinations for North-East travellers have been announced.
Cork, in Ireland and Paris, Charles de Gualle, are part of next year's programme operated by bmibaby, from Durham Tees Valley Airport.
It will be offering seven European destinations next year, with flights available within the UK and Channel Islands, Ireland, Spain and France.
Nearly 50 flights a week will include services to Alicante, Palma, Malaga, Paris, Jersey, Cork and Belfast.
The airport has reported a significant increase in passenger numbers for last month compared to the same period last year.
Last month, 55,276 people used the airport, an increase of more than 21 per cent on last November. The past 12 months have been the busiest on record, with more than 800,000 passengers. By next year, the airport predicts that it will see more than a million passengers a year.
