PLANS have been drawn up to help manage the growing volume of holiday traffic in Thornton-le-Dale.
North Yorkshire County Council has come up with a traffic management strategy including options to improve the traffic situation.
Potential changes include an anti-clockwise one-way system around the village green, 40mph zones on both A170 approaches into the village, with speed signs, and parking restrictions.
Residents are being asked for their views and, once collated, the county council will evaluate the findings.
