A GROUP of bikers zoomed into Darlington yesterday with gifts for some of the town's underprivileged children.
Members of The Motorcycle Action Group - who campaign for road safety - brought sacks of presents for this year's Giving Tree Appeal.
Mayor, Councillor Roderick Francis, was at the town hall to meet the bikers, while students from the University of Teesside media studies department filmed the event as part of their course work.
To contribute to the appeal presents can be handed in at The Northern Echo, Alpha 103.2, ASDA, Matalan, Travel Care, in Morrisons, on North Road, and the Herald and Post before Sunday.
