STAFF at Clive Owen and Co are celebrating the success of Jill Horton, who has recently qualified as a chartered accountant.

Ms Horton joined the firm as a trainee three years ago, having already achieved her degree in accounting and finance, graduating from the University of Teesside.

She has worked with clients to help prepare year-end accounts, tax and VAT returns but, since completing her final examinations, she will have a greater amount of responsibility and take on more duties within the firm of accountants and business advisors.

Tony Luckett, a company partner, said: "We are thrilled with Jill's exam results."

He continued: "She has been an exemplary student and has organised her training around a hectic workload.

"Jill has always been committed to providing a first class service to our ever-expanding client-base and is an asset to our team."
