TWO men have pleaded guilty over their part in an attack in which they punched and kicked a student.
Paul Henderson and Stephen Dunn left 26-year-old John Hayles bleeding in the street following the attack in Broomside Lane, Carrville, near Durham, in February.
At Durham Crown Court yesterday, Henderson, 18, of Overman Street, High Shincliffe, and 21-year-old Dunn, of Fir Terrace, Esh Winning, both admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
A third man, 18-year-old Jamie Vayro, of Woodland View, West Rainton, was found not guilty of assault.
Judge Michael Cartlidge adjourned the case until January 10 for sentencing, but warned both men to expect a custodial sentence.
