THE director of a North-East Chinese restaurant that failed with debts of more than £357,000 will not run another business for four years.
Kin Man Wong, of Linacre Way, Darlington, gave the undertaking to the Insolvency Service (IS).
It follows his role as a director of Premier Castle Limited, which traded as New Ming Dynasty restaurant in Stowell Street, Newcastle.
Premier was placed into voluntary liquidation on September 20, 2002, with estimated debts of £261,000 owed to its creditors.
According to the IS, matters of unfit conduct that were not disputed by Kin Man Wong included failing to take adequate steps to familiarise himself with the financial affairs of Premier and failing to declare all its takings in its accounts, to Inland Revenue and to Customs and Excise.
