YOUNGSTERS from Middlesbrough primary schools will be taking part in a swimming event at the Neptune Centre, in Ormesby Road today.
Pallister Park, Park End, Pennyman, Caldicotes and Bramble primary schools are taking part in a We Are The Champions competition.
Each school will enter a team of 12 Year 5 and 6 children, headed by a sports development officer from Middlesbrough Council, to take part in six fun events.
About 200 children will be pool-side to cheer on the youngsters.
Steel River Textiles have provided the children and staff with free T-shirts for the event.
