Carmel RC Technology College, in Darlington, will be closed tomorrow for the second day running.
Staff said problems with cracked water pipes were the cause of the closure.
A prize-giving ceremony for students, planned for tonight, has also been cancelled and is expected to be re-arranged for Friday, January 7. The school is due to re-open Friday.
