TWO hundred children treated their parents and friends to a celebration of Christmas through the ages yesterday.
St Anne's Primary in Bishop Auckland, filled St Andrew's Church, South Church, for the Christmas service.
A traditional nativity tableau presented by the reception class was followed by stories from the 1800s until the present day, including a feast of rock and roll music.
Headteacher Michael Jopling said: "The whole school takes part and we always have a full church. We get brilliant support."
