BAR staff donned platform shoes and wigs to raise cash for pupils at a special school.
The Turners Mill pub, in Greenstones Road, Redcar, hosted a 1970s fancy dress night, a beach party and a raffle for Kirkleatham Special School.
A television and DVD player were first prizes for the best fancy dress.
The pub, owned by Ember Inns, raised £400 for the school and handed over the cheque on Thursday.
Pub manager Bill McGroaty said: "The fundraising was a lot of fun. There were some hilarious fancy dress costumes.
"It is a well-deserving cause and next year we will try to do the same for someone else."
