Spennymoor face one of their longest treks of the season when they go to Shepshed Dynamo in the Presidents Cup today.
Moors head for the First Division club in Leicestershire smarting from the 3-0 defeat at Wakefield last Saturday.
Manager Graeme Clark said: "It's an ideal game for us, because we can put the demons of last week behind us, and experiment a little bit.
"The players are definitely more focused than they were last week."
Midfielder Andrew Brown is missing, while skipper Phil Brumwell will have a late fitness test.
Bishop Auckland have a much shorter trip in the same competition to Kendal in Cumbria.
Keeper Dale Roberts and midfielder Michael Coghlin are both added to the squad, but defender Mark Foster is suspended. Striker Chris I'Anson and midfielder Brian Ross are both struggling with injuries.
Manager Brian Honour said: "It's important to win, because it keeps the season alive. Plus, it will make a nice change not having to look at the league table."
