VISITORS to Stockton's Environment Centre have praised its service.
A questionnaire was given to visitors, and 99 per cent of those who completed it said the centre provided a service to residents that was good to excellent.
Councillor Steve Nelson said: "Since opening four years ago, the Environment Centre has become the focal point in the borough for environmental issues.
"Thousands have taken advantage of grants and discounts for home insulation measures, including cavity wall and loft insulation, heating systems and draughtproofing. Instant fuel price comparisons have helped hundreds of householders reduce their annual fuel bills."
