TALENTED dance school youngsters are taking supporting roles in a North pantomime.
The Georgian Theatre Royal, in Richmond, North Yorkshire, will host the story of Cinderella.
Director George Critchley's production opened last night with supporting roles filled by students from Stockton's Karen Heritage Dance School.
There will be two performances a day for the show, which will run until December 31.
Cinderella, played by Helen Power, is joined on stage by Melody Fielding as her Fairy Godmother, Ben Watson as Buttons, and Arnie Breen as Anastasia.
Ms Power said: "Pantomime gives you the chance to engage with an audience, and the Georgian's intimate setting is perfect as you can see every single face."
