QUESTIONNAIRES are to be sent to landowners and ramblers' groups as part of a consultation on Darlington's rights of way.
The borough council is compiling an improvement plan and has already carried out a survey of residents, via the town's citizens' panel.
The authority wants to find out how to improve access for walkers, cyclists, horse riders and those with mobility problems.
Darlington has 303km of local rights of way, including public footpaths, bridleways and byways.
